Duane Loynes Jr. for Governor

Politics with a mind and heart

"Politics should begin by respecting the inherent dignity of every human person at every stage of life. People should not be treated as disposable but instead uplifted by an economy that serves families, workers, and communities. Families are the basis of every human society, and that vital foundation requires tangible support to uphold, not just lip service. Workers deserve dignity in their jobs, but work cannot supply everything people need to thrive. Economic life should serve the whole human person by ensuring fair pay and worker protections, leaving room for purpose beyond the workplace. Communities thrive when decisions are made as locally as possible, rather than imposed by outside interests. Solidarity means we do not abandon one another. That includes immigrants lacking secure legal status who are being deported en masse without distinction or diligence. Immigrants should be accepted through proper legal channels and border security should be paired with humane treatment."
